The Aquatic Birds shown on this page were all taken while sitting in a portable blind.  I do most of my photography from a blind.  That way I can catch birds behaving normally while unaware of my presence.  These aquatic birds were photographed in the Midwest; however, many of them can be found in other regions of the United States.
